voice of reason

here is my good ol' dad's new blog while he is in alaska for the summer. he thinks he is a voice of reason. ha ha.

developing my talents!

thanks to tiff for introducing me to hair today! i love, love, love this site (and right now, she is doing a give-away...go see). i have already done the hair headband on anna. and here is the proof:

my hair-doing talents are really being developed. here is the haircut i gave shawn on saturday:

i know, it really is quite short. but that's what he wanted. and i think it looks pretty good for my first haircut ever!

so, if anyone needs a braid or a short do--just come on by!

time well spent

it was my friend's birthday yesterday. i spent the day with her to help her celebrate...we had a blast! and to top it all off, we even accomplished painting a wall in her room. well, mostly i watched...not much help in the work mode. you can see what we did here.

happy birthday maryann!

tucker's first mail

tucker received his first mail today.

ruff! ruff! ruff-ruff! (that's tucker's way of saying "thank you gramma rhonda")

very thoughtful...

...especially coming from a kitty-loving gramma.

fhe: last snowmobiling outing and i actually remembered my camera

so we thought we would get in one last fun outing before the snow is all gone. we had a blast. except i fell through the snow, clear up to my chotch--freaked me out.

here are some pics for you to enjoy:

i know, big glare as the sun goes over the mountain.

we pulled the kids behind on the sled. they love riding. after i got off the snowmobile (i was riding on the back) shawn drove crazy to knock them off. mikey didn't like that.

my little tucker-oo

shawn let anna drive. she thought she was pretty hot stuff.

You Are Belle!

Intelligent and kind. Your beauty goes much further than your appearance. Also, you make judgements of people based on their personality and not their looks. Attaining all the knowledge that you can is one of your major goals in life, but you are also a person who can make things happen.
