grow old along with me, the best is yet to be?

we were talking about dying (i don't know why) on the way home from church. anna had some questions, one of them being do we keep growing after we die. i didn't quite get it so i asked her what she meant.

"well, mom, if we keep growing after we die then that means that heaven will be filled with a lot of senior citizens and that won't be too fun. i mean, there won't be any kid things."

she does have a point.

  1. It is so fun to hear what our kids are thinking - and to know that they are thinking about this kind of stuff. I think I have to agree with her - that would really be no fun! What insight!
