does anybody know where michael's "will dool ding" (real cool thing) is? he is missing his "will dool ding". let me know please. thanks.

so, i was really excited to go to bed last night. (really, i am excited every night because i LOVE to sleep, but last night really i was really excited). we got a new memory foam mattress topper for our bed. i had pictures of me floating on clouds all nestled down with fluff and foam supporting my every pressure point. WRONG! and boy was i deceived. i forgot to read the fine print. it read:

"this memory foam mattress topper is only so good. it does not keep or even try to keep little elbows, knees, feet, etc. from climbing into your bed. this memory foam mattress topper can only do so much to keep you safe and warm and comforted for an entire night's sleep. YOU and only YOU are in charge of keeping unwanted things or little people out of your bed. sorry."

i want my money back. rather i want a lock. and maybe some duck tape. i hear you can do anything with duck tape. or maybe some dimetapp would do. got any ideas?

i am still deciding if i should be excited to go to bed tonight.

yes, it is still a bit difficult to understand what the young one says. and it is hilarious!

niceness of new

i feel really good about my children's room. finally. i got shawn to buy new bunk beds and get rid of the homemade ones he so graciously made. and screwed (about a millions screws) into the wall. he painted part of them too. then anna decided that she wanted to move hers. more screws and lots of screw holes. i love him. anyway, we got new beds and new piece of remnant carpeting for their room. it is quite lovely. plus...
we got rid of toys. it is simply amazing. we have downsized. in the children's room anyway. now, what's next? the bathrooms, kitchen, computer/craft room? maybe i will take a break for awhile. it was quite exhausting. even to just think about.

sweet sweet man o' mine

i received an email from shawn today. he wished me a happy 9 1/2 year anniversary. i love him. six months from today will be our 10 year anniversary. he already remembered our 9 1/2 year anniversary. i love him.

really, this time i'm probably back

okay, i was lost for a bit but now i am found. again. i am taking advantage of my blog now for my crazy mind to find a resting place. if i just get the thoughts organized enough to give them a home. perhaps then, i can rest.
