This is not good Liz. Too bad you're not here. The local P.O. is open til midnight. I'm sure the postal service there isn't quite as reliable.
As soon as we received our K-1 we had our taxes done. It's a good thing too. Since our buyer fell through, we have been making mortgage payments for a house that is vacant! Which reminds me I have to pay $1000 to WaMu tomorrow, for a house that nobody is living in...What a waste! And the utilities $200...unbelievible.
I'm still up - let me know if you need any late night reinforcements - I may have chocolate...
They DEFINITELY do NOT do a big tax thing here like they do in Utah. No late night being opened - nada, zip. Guess that's one of those few downsides to the rural life. At least your address isn't 'country road...'and the PO is only 3 minutes away. Good luck!
You know that commercial with the two guys talking and they both have big guys hanging on their backs? Yeah, that's totally how I felt about our taxes...
