for activity days, anna got to have a pinewood derby with her dad. she designed the car, he cut it out and they painted together. shawn made sure it was up to code and had plenty of graphite in the wheels. and guess what, they came in second place. but more importantly they beat the cougar car!
don't they make a cute couple...

I'm glad they are letting girls do this now. I was always jealous when my brothers did pinewood derby. Even though they always lost and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have done any better.

Both Anna and Shawn look different. Anna is bigger, and Shawn I'm not sure. Is his hair longer on his face and head? I love the Black Widow!!! Tell Anna that is the coolest pinewood derby car I have ever seen.

First we gave 'em the vote. Then we let them have a driver's license. Then we caved on the Pinewood Derby. Is there nothing sacred anymore?
