apparently it has been too cold outside lately for this dog of ours. or maybe he is just getting lazy.
he stands half-in and half-out of the door. all the time. it's a new thing.
i threaten to make him start paying the heating bill (yes, we do have one). but it doesn't seem to work.

that's pretty funny. Malcolm used to ask to have the door opened, start to walk out and realize how cold it was and stand there trying to decide whether how much he really needed to go out. If he'd had his own door I'm sure this would have been his solution.
That's really funny. Poor dog. He needs a "snuggie".
I'm not convinced you have a heating bill.
I'm with Katie - how sad that you blame it on the dog - I remember the days B.T., and it was still pretty cold at your house! At least the barking half is outside right?
